Research, Investigate and Compile (RIC)

Connecting Clients to Legal Aid

Project RIC is the advocacy branch of The Liberation Foundation. The primary focus of TLLF, Project RIC aims to advocate for incarcerated people claiming innocence or wrongful conviction. We do this primarily by partnering with lawyers on a pro bono basis to investigate claims of innocence, wrongful conviction and disproportionate sentencing.

Investigating Claims

A team of  pro bono lawyers, student volunteers and investigators work to further examine the details of a client's case and conviction, gathering new evidence and compiling a memorandum to advocate for justice.
